I am a writer based in Devon in the UK.

In 2020, after 20 years’ working as a copy, pitch and tender writer, the itch to write stories had grown too big to ignore and I enrolled in the University of Exeter’s Creative Writing MA programme.

In 2022 I graduated with distinction, and started submitting work to publications and competitions. Between freelance work and raising my three children, I also started focusing on novel writing.

My short form work tends to focus on family and relationships, as well as ageing and personal change.

When writing novels I love historical fiction, exploring the lives of strong, fascinating women whose stories have been ignored or forgotten.
